Vipassana Meditation Vipassana Movement:
In short, vipassana is an old practice of meditation. The practitioner takes upon him/her a commitment of silent, detachment from the worldly external and focusing internally.
I chose to take a 2 days vipassana, however, I have chose to do it in my own surrounding. I know most practitioners will travel to a retreat for practicing, and it could be more then wonderful.
For me it was about observing in the centre of life.
Watching my being where I am.
I could go on and on about the values and benefits of Meditation, or in this case, vipassana meditation.
But it would be simpler to summarize some thoughts that I had.
I used to think that if you have nothing good to say, then don’t say anything.
Yesterday I learned, “if you don’t have something important/valuable to say, than say nothing”.
My point is that good could be subjective. Important/valuable is something that one must think and question before speaking.
We tend to think we have a lot to say and maybe so, but when it comes to real sayings, mostly what we must say will be to thank someone or to our surroundings, or maybe asking caring questions to someone in our surroundings.
In the essence of being, I have none.
In the essence of seeing, I see none.
In the essence of hearing, I hear none.
In the essence of eating, I eat none.
In the essence of feeling, I feel none.
In the essence of touching, I touch none.
In the essence of breathing
